A Little Background

Hey guys... so I have just been informed that my stories are a bit confusing.  Sorry for not explaining this all before.  The Albertina series I am doing is in an orphanage for girls.  It is a Catholic orphanage with girls from ages 5 to 15.  Some of the girls live there full time and a few live there a lot, but have families they are able to visit (when the parents aren't away working in another city).  The group is very close knit, and all of them seem to be well loved there.  I have been working there photographing on and off for 2 weeks, and will continue through my stay here.  Any feedback on photos is much appreciated!

The other story I am doing is in a Zapateria, a shoe factory.  The shoes here are handmade and well crafted.  The people work long, hot, tiring days here almost everyday of the week.  I am hoping to focus on one family that works there.  The father is in his 50's and his two kids work there with him, I believe they are 15 and 14.

Also a few people have expressed an interest in purchasing some photographs other than the ones from the orphanage... this is also possible.  I will be selling my other work for the same price $30 per 8 x 10.  I have a bunch of stuff that is not on my blog that can be sold as well.  I hope to give a lot of the money from this to the orphanage as well.  If you have a certain type of photo in mind (architecture, landscape, animals) let me know.  I really want to help the girls and I figure this is a pretty easy and fun way to do it.

I love and miss you all!!!!

Adios
